Accenture is seeking a senior Energy Strategy Advisor to lead enterprise-scale transformation across Upstream, Downstream, Midstream, and Low Carbon value chains. You will shape data governance, AI adoption, and cloud-enabled modernization while guiding client engagements at the executive level.

This role requires 12+ years in Oil & Gas, 10+ years in strategic advisory, and a proven track record mentoring large global delivery teams. Travel up to 0–100% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years within Oil & Gas/Energy industry.
• Minimum of 10 years in a strategic advisory role across upstream, midstream, and downstream.
• Minimum of 10 years mentoring global delivery teams on large-scale transformations.
• Minimum of 10 years of business development and executive-level solutioning.

You Are:

You focus on technology-led business transformation initiatives for Energy clients, combining deep Oil & Gas domain expertise with modern data, cloud, AI, and digital technologies. Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology stakeholders while driving enterprise-scale transformation across the Upstream, Downstream, Midstream, and Low Carbon value chains

The Work:

Energy Domain Leadership:

• Advise Energy clients on end-to-end operational and enterprise business challenges.
• Drive digital operating models, process modernization, and domain-specific data ecosystems.

Data & Digital Transformation:

• Lead enterprise data modernization, governance, and architecture programs (e.g., OSDU, cloud).
• Accelerate transformation through AI, advanced analytics, and digital platform adoption.

Technology Leadership:

• Define solution architectures and roadmaps for cloud, application modernization, and platform engineering.
• Deploy AI-driven automation and cross-platform integrations to enhance operational efficiency.

Client & Growth Leadership:

• Cultivate executive client relationships and lead business development for high-value pursuits.
• Create industry accelerators, thought leadership, and value-focused technology offerings.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirement

Here’s What You Need:

• Minimum of 12 years within Oil & Gas/Energy industry.
• Minimum of 10 years in a strategic advisory role across key upstream, midstream, and downstream domains, including: Subsurface, Wells & Drilling, Production Operations, Reservoir & Asset Management, Energy Data Management, Capital Projects, and HSE
• Minimum of 10 years of direct experience mentoring high-performing global delivery teams across large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Minimum of 10 years of business development, strategy pursuits, and solutioning for executive-level client stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Bonus if:

• You have led modern enterprise architecture initiatives leveraging Cloud, Data Platforms, Information Architecture, AI/GenAI, and Advanced Analytics.
• You have implemented scalable platform engineering, enterprise integrations, and modern data ecosystems (e.g., OSDU).

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but is not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
