Job summary

The Citi Summer Technology Analyst Program invites graduates to join Citi's global technology team to work on high-impact projects spanning microservices, frontend development, AI and data analytics. You will contribute to scalable, low-latency enterprise systems and cybersecurity efforts that support Citi's clients worldwide.

Starting in early June, the program combines hands-on training, speaker sessions, and networking to accelerate your technical growth and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or other tech related degrees.
• GPA of 3.0 or better preferred.
• Pass technical interviews consisting of basic algorithmic programming exercises.
• Work Authorization: Authorized to work in (United States of America) without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver microservices and front-end features using Java, Spring, React/Angular, and related tools.
• Leverage Generative AI and data analytics to drive innovative solutions and optimize user experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global Citi technology projects with an emphasis on security and resilience.

We are committed to teaching you the ropes. The Summer Analyst Program starts in early June with an in-depth education on the Analyst role’s fundamentals and the nuances of Citi's culture. The program also includes on-the-desk training, an informative speaker series, and networking opportunities. Summer Analysts often return to Citi after graduating from university to become Full-Time Analysts and continue their career in technology.

• Microservices Developer: Java, Spring Framework, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
• Front-End Web Development: React or Angular, Apigee TypeScript, HTML5
• Generative AI & AI Agents: GitHub Copilot with various models, Citi Squad (automated code reviews), Devin.AI (Agentic Code generation), Prompt Engineering, Workflow Design, GenAI Optimization, Stylus Workspaces (In-house Gemini)
• Data Analytics: Utilizing tools like Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics to track customer journey adoption and measure the business value of delivered products.

• Graduation between Dec 2027 and May 2028.
• Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or other tech related degrees.
• GPA of 3.0 or better is preferred.

• Possess a global outlook and willingness to collaborate across cultures and time zones.
• Have excellent communication skills, project management, leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work well within diverse teams.
• Ability to pass technical interviews consisting of basic algorithmic programming exercises.
• Must be collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills. Prior experience working in agile teams is desirable.
