Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Internal Audit-Technology Auditor in Dallas to assess your firm's technology controls and data quality. As part of the third line of defense, you will audit IT applications, evaluate control design and operation, and report findings to management and Audit committees.

You will collaborate with global teams across technology risk, cybersecurity, and engineering to ensure robust governance, risk management, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in Technology auditing covering IT applications and processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of software development concepts and system architecture.
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure, databases, operating systems and messaging.
• Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or SQL.
• Must be highly motivated with strong analytical skills and ability to learn quickly.

Responsibilities

• Audit technology processes and assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls.
• Document assessments and testing results with management.
• Monitor and follow up on the resolution of open audit findings.
• Support independent assurance around the firm's internal control environment.
