Job summary

Charles Schwab is offering an AI / Cybersecurity Intern position in Phoenix, with on-site collaboration and hands-on exposure to information security, AI and cyber defense. Interns will work alongside cybersecurity professionals, supporting monitoring, threat analysis, governance, risk management, and security operations.

We are seeking students currently enrolled in a bachelor's program, aiming for junior-level standing, and available for the full 9-week, 40-hour-per-week internship during

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and entering junior-level standing by internship start date.
• Have not completed your bachelor's degree prior to the internship.
• Able to commit to 40 hours per week during the 9‑week Summer 2027 internship program.
• Able to begin full‑time employment between August 2027 and September 2028.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis without employer sponsorship.
• Willing to relocate at personal expense if required.

Responsibilities

• Assist cybersecurity monitoring and threat analysis under supervision.
• Support governance practices and risk management processes.
• Help with security controls, automation, and enterprise security operations.

AI / Cybersecurity Intern

Students who are interested in Information Security, AI and Cyber Defense - this one's for you! Interns gain exposure to cybersecurity monitoring, threat analysis, security controls, governance practices, risk management processes, security automation, and enterprise security operations. Participants work alongside Cybersecurity professionals helping protect systems, networks, applications, and data across the organization.

What you have

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program and entering junior‑level standing by internship start date.

• Able to commit to 40 hours per week during the 9‑week Summer 2027 internship program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline


• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
