UMass Memorial Health Breast Imaging is seeking a Breast Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams and assist radiologists in invasive procedures. The role requires ARDMS Breast certification within one year and a minimum of 3 years in breast imaging.
You will operate imaging systems, maintain records, and ensure safety and patient comfort. The position offers a day shift, with a 24-hour work schedule per week, and belongs to the SHARE union.

Exemption Status: Non-Exempt
Hiring Range: $42.83 - $60.88

Department-specific competencies and their measurements will be developed and maintained in the individual departments. The competencies will be maintained and attached to the departmental job description. Responsible managers will review competencies with position incumbents.
Work is considered sedentary. Position requires work indoors in a normal office environment.
Under the supervision of the Ultrasound Manager and Lead Technologist, the Breast Ultrasound Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic sonographic imaging in a breast imaging setting. This role supports radiologists by producing accurate imaging, assisting in procedures, and ensuring adherence to departmental policies, patient safety standards, and hospital protocols.
