Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Radiology student/intern to support imaging procedures in a clinical setting. You will learn and apply radiologic techniques, adhere to hospital protocols, and contribute to patient care under supervision.

The role involves documenting procedures, maintaining equipment, and participating in departmental improvement activities to ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an approved/accredited Radiology Program.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

• Demonstrates understanding of Radiologic principles/theory and uses the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures, as demonstrated by results.
• Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements procedure/treatment plan following hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completes documentation to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care meets established standards.
• Completes assigned goals.
