Job summary

Baptist in Jonesboro, AR invites motivated students currently enrolled in an approved radiology program to assist in imaging procedures under supervision. This role supports diagnosis and treatment through adherence to radiology practice standards.

You will develop and implement procedure plans, maintain equipment and rooms, and document activities in line with hospital policies. The position offers hands-on experience in a clinical setting and requires basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an approved/accredited Radiology Program.
• Basic computer literacy required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates radiologic principles/theory and selects the most appropriate technique and positioning.
• Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completes documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
• Participates in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards.
• Completes assigned goals.

Job description
