Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month; ARRT Radiography credential within 6 months.

• Department: Imaging Support Services
• Schedule: PRN, As needed, Monday - Friday, Inpatient Shifts: 6:00am - 2:30pm or 8:30am - 5:00pm. Outpatient Shifts: 6:00am - 5:00pm
• Hospital: St. Vincent Anderson
• Location: Anderson, IN

This position is ideal for a Registered ARRT candidate seeking occasional hours to support three different locations.

Responsibilities

• Take radiologic films providing quality images to physicians to aid in diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging and select exposure factors accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within scope and regulations.
• Observe patient during procedures and report abnormalities. Monitor protocols and suggest updates as needed.
• Follow radiation safety procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure.
• Ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to PACS.
• Maintain equipment functionality and report issues.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized department.
• Position patients and select parameters accurately.

Requirements

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider within 1 month; ARRT Radiography credential within 6 months.
• Education: High School diploma with 2 years of experience, or Associate's/Technical degree, or 4 years of relevant experience.

Additional Preferences

• Registered ARRT - Radiography required.
