Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Mammographer to perform mammography procedures and contribute to a patient-centered imaging team. You will follow department protocols, document clinical information, and maintain careful attention to patient comfort and safety.

The role requires ARRT Mammography certification, active Illinois licensure, and CPR. Training for stereotactic biopsies is a plus, with a structured, supportive environment and opportunities to advance within a physician-led system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with advanced Mammography certification required.
• Illinois State Licensure (IEMA) must be active.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner following department protocols.
• Corroborate patient history with the procedure and document per standards.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to obtain optimal results.
• Explain breast compression and address patient comfort.
• Operate breast imaging equipment to obtain quality images and minimize radiation exposure.
• Assist with stereotactic biopsies when trained or as needed.

Be responsible for the variety of breast imaging examinations for the purpose of assisting in a patient’s medical diagnosis or screening for cancerPatient Care & ImagingPerform mammography procedures in a technically proficient manner. Follow department protocols and specific radiologist direction.Corroborate patient's clinical history with procedure; assuring information is documented in accordance with the department's standards.Prepare patient for procedures; providing instructions to obtain desired results, gain cooperation and minimize anxiety.Select and operate breast imaging equipment and associated devices to achieve desired results.Position patient and equipment to best demonstrate anatomic area of interest. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
