Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care in Union City, TN seeks a Radiologic Technologist specializing in CT to perform imaging procedures following radiology practice standards. This role supports accurate diagnosis and treatment through high-quality imaging and adherence to hospital protocols.

The position requires ARRT(R) registration in Radiography, CT registry (preferred), BLS within 30 days of hire, and a demonstrated understanding of radiologic principles.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with Registry in Radiography (R) required.
• Registry in CT (CT) ARRT preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates understanding of radiologic principles/theory and uses appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments.
• Develops the procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements plan using hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completes documentation to comply with policies.
• Maintains equipment and rooms in safe condition for patient/staff safety.
• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Completes assigned goals.

Job Summary

Performs imaging procedures/treatments according to radiology practice standards in order to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease. Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory and utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments, as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results.
• Develops appropriate procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements procedure/treatment plan utilizing established hospital protocols/guidelines.
• Completes documentation as required to comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintains equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Participates in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure that patient care is consistent with established standards.
• Completes assigned goals.
