Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Technician Trainee to learn the technician trade and perform light maintenance under close supervision. You will work with experienced technicians on diagnostic equipment and preventive maintenance to keep jobs on schedule.

The program includes a structured training path, safety-focused environment, and opportunities for advancement into technician or road technician roles.

Qualifications

• 0 to 1 years’ experience with similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to safely use personal tools and equipment.
• Proficient to advanced computer skills for work orders and diagnostics.
• Knowledge of equipment safety and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Observe, learn and assist technicians with major repairs.
• Support maintenance and preventive tasks to minimize downtime.
• Perform light maintenance and pre-delivery inspections under supervision.
• Fabricate/replace parts to meet specifications under supervision.
• Attend safety trainings and maintain clean, safe work areas.
