Summit Fire & Security is seeking a Shop Technician to receive, store, pick, and move materials in our warehouse. You will support fire extinguisher inspections, assist walk-in customers, and transport items to customers as needed.
The role requires forklift certification and strong attention to safety and accuracy. Ideal candidates have 1 year of fire life safety experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams.
The purpose of the Shop Technician position is to receive materials, store materials, pick items and move as well as transport items outside of the warehouse.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee isfrequentlyrequired to bend,ascendand descend step stools,laddersand stairs, kneel, lift <50lbs, reach above and below shoulders, stand and walk for extended periods of time. Employee isrequired to see in color, close and far distances, peripheral, depth, and adjust focus. Employee will occasional berequiredto balance, crouch, drive, kneel, lift >50lbs, sit, stoop, twist, and work at heights.
Employees willregularlyberequired towork outside, and be exposed to hot/cold temperatures, dust, fumes, chemicals, electricalhazardsandnoise.Employeewill occasionallybe requiredto work indoors in an office setting, work alone and with others. Employeemustconsistentlywear allappropriate personalprotective equipment, as required by company safety policies while visiting locations.
