Job summary

BorgWarner is seeking a quality-focused professional to perform dimensional measurements and manage calibration of lab and production gaging, ensuring customer-ready dimensions for components and assemblies.

You will conduct initial production inspections, annual re-measurements, and uphold rigorous safety standards while supporting production, manufacturing, quality, and product engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• One to three years of related experience is required.
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs dimensional measurements of all product parameters to support production, manufacturing, quality and product engineering.
• Is responsible for ordering, studying, repairing and calibrating all laboratory and production floor gaging.
• Dimensionally inspects initial production components and assemblies for customer approval.

Roles and Responsibilities

Education and Experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Knowledge in engineering print reading and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Proper use and calibration of precision measuring instruments.
• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine programming.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis including Minitab software.

Work Schedule and Location

• Position is a weekend shift position. Must be able to work Friday-Monday.

Compensation

• Salary Range: $70,400 - $96,800
