Job summary

STAR CONSTRUCTION, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Field Technician in Louisville, KY. You will perform inspections, tests, and monitor compliance to ensure work meets plans and specifications throughout construction projects.

This entry-level role requires 1 year of related experience, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to work in all weather conditions. We offer weekly pay, PTO, and a 401(k) with company match, plus education reimbursement and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving record
• One year of relevant work experience
• Quality control experience preferred in telecom/construction
• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience in related field
• Knowledge of telecom construction industry standard practices
• Knowledge of Customer Installation Standards and Documentation

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure work meets plans and specifications
• Perform final inspections as requested by customers to ensure compliance with construction standards
• Identify issues and report them to relevant team members for resolution
• Record and follow up on non-compliance issues until they are resolved
• Ensure all required testing is completed as specified and document the results
• Follow installation milestones and support project activities as directed by management
• Work overtime, travel, and handle on-call or after-hours responsibilities as needed, and perform duties in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll do

What you’ll need
