Job summary

CVS Health in Wilkes-Barre, PA, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join the Mail Order Pharmacy team. The Packing/Shipping Technician fills mail order prescriptions, labels medications, and operates automated filling systems in a fast-paced, closed-door setting.

The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for long periods, and reliable attendance with overtime flexibility. Schedule includes Thu/Fri evenings, Sat, plus a fourth day.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unrestricted license with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or trainee on Day 1 of employment
• Regular and predictable attendance based on our policy
• The ability to work business required overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Fill mail order prescriptions, label prepackaged medications, and channel fill for automated machines
• Back-end Product Selection Technician work with medication and filling operations of automated machines
• Stand for the length of the shift and lift up to 40 lbs; operate a 10-key keypad
• Work in a closed-door pharmacy setting and interact with staff as needed

As aProduct Selection (filling)Technician working in thepharmacy, you will be responsible forall aspects of thefillingof mail order prescriptions. You get to manually fillprescriptions,label prepackaged medications,and channel fill for the automated machines. As a backendProduct Selection Technician, you gettowork directly with the medication and the fillingor operationsof automated machines.

It’scritical that you know how to use a 10keypadand can lift 40 pounds. As aProduct SelectionTechnicianyou will be standing for the length of your shift. Good written and verbal communication skills for interacting with all levels of staffisalsorequired.

• Thursday, Friday 2:30pm-1am,
• Saturday 2pm-12:30am,
• and a fourth day

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unrestricted license with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or trainee on Day 1 of employment

• The ability to work businessrequiredovertime (BROT) when needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in medical,fulfillment center,warehouseor healthcare environments

• Schedule flexibility for testing support including early starts, latestaysand weekend support.

Physical Demands

• Ability to remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.Moving about on foot toaccomplishtasks, particularly for moving from one work area to anotheror within the same work area
• Ability tooccasionallylift/reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk with up to 40lbs.to move objects
• The workeris required tohave close visual acuity to perform activitiessuch as:viewing a computer screen, reading, visual inspection involving small parts
• The ability to concentrate on a task overa period of timewithout being distracted
• Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or arm

• Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist
• Stooping to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
