Job summary

Baptist in Covington, TN is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform and report defined laboratory procedures to assure optimal patient outcomes. You will be responsible for assigned shifts, with overtime and call backs as required, while following safety and regulatory standards.

Minimum requirements include an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or completion of a 50-week US military medical laboratory training, plus national certification within six months of hire.

• Assesses, evaluates and draws appropriate conclusions.
• Follows regulatory requirements, competency requirements and maintains safe laboratory practice.
• Completes assigned goals.
