GE HealthCare's Technology & Innovation Center (HTIC) in Niskayuna, NY seeks a Technician for the Superconducting Magnet team. You will perform complex engineering tasks including magnet coil winding, cold mass build-up, and cryostat assembly while supporting data acquisition and experiments.

As a Technician in the Superconducting Magnet team at HTIC, you will carry out a broad range of complex engineering assignments supporting the development of novel superconducting magnet prototypes, including magnet coil winding, cold mass build-up, and cryostat assembly. Assignments may include but are not limited to set-up and operation of data acquisition equipment, execution of experiments, troubleshooting of hardware/test systems, documentation and reporting of test results. The Superconducting Magnet Technician also supports compliance and quality activities within the lab and serves as a technical resource for other team members.
