This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will support the development and construction of liquid rocket engine test facilities for various spaceflight systems reporting to the Shift Leader. You will demonstrate operational excellence in test stand procedure execution, reviewing, improving, and following test procedures and processes. Working with engineers on planning and executing assembly for complex mechanical systems, you will fabricate, install tubing, and associated valves and components perform rocket engine test stand. We will rely on you to lead rebuilding, troubleshooting and maintenance as required on all mechanical, hydraulic, cryogenic systems and ground support equipment. You will safely work with and around hazardous chemicals and high‑pressure fluid systems. Finally, you will identify opportunities for continuous improvements to promote workplace safety, achieve cost‑savings, and make test stand operations more streamlined and consistent. This position will directly influence the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight.
