The hourly base rate for this position is $43.40 + $3.00 shift differential

What You Will Do

The Controls Technician isresponsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the electrical and computer-based control systems that operate machinery on the production line, ensuring smooth operation by identifying and resolving issues with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and other automation components, often working closely with maintenance and production staff to optimize production processes.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Responsible for the commissioning, diagnosis, calibration, maintenance, and repair of environmental-control systems and processes,utilizingknowledge of electronics, direct digital control (DDC), airflow, hydronics, refrigeration theory, pH sensors, flow meters, electricalmeters,and system control techniques

• Work with the Maintenance, Controls Engineer, Plant Engineer, and the Facility Engineer to keep all control systems, mechanical and electromechanical field devicesoperatingaccording to the basis of design

• Assistmaintenance techs troubleshoot electrical controls related process issues

• Adhere to national electrical codes, NFPA 70E standards, and strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures.

• UseRockwell Automation software,multimeters, and diagnostics to find and fix electrical or control failures.

What You Will Bring

Required

• High School Diploma

• Associate or Technical Degree, Certification in Electronics, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logic, HVAC preferred

• Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, GMP's and general instructions.

• Ability tocommunicateeffectively.
