Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental seeks an onsite Technician/Machine Operator for its Pennsylvania recycling operation. This role reports to the Shift Supervisor and pays $19.00/hr plus a $3.00 shift differential, with Saturdays/Sundays 6:00am–3:00pm and Mondays–Wednesdays 2:30pm–11:30pm.

You will unload/load trailers, operate shredding/grinding/cleaning machines, calibrate probes and monitor pH, read work orders, and coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment running safely.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn tooperate, maintain and set updifferent typesof shredding/grinding/cleaning machines.
• Resolve issues related to day-to-day operations and maintenance.
• Responsible for calibrating probes and monitoring PH of processed waste.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Required to clear jams and clean the machine daily in conjunction with the maintenance department.
• Monitor machine performance/condition and notify maintenance of any issues.
• Develop an understanding of OSHA regulations and Triumvirate’s Health and Safety Practices.
• Respect and build working relationships with co-workers.
• Demonstrate the ability to be creative and solve unique problems.
• Regular/Daily cleaning of work area and tools.
• Load/ Unload trailers.
• Wear all the required PPE.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Basic Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
• Upon employment, you willbe requiredtoparticipatein a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment tomaintaininga safe and healthy work environment
• This role is considered safety sensitive .
• Musthave a reliable form of transportation.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Preferred Requirements:

• Previousmanufacturing experience
• Manufacturing environment where hearing protection, safety glasses and steel toed boots arerequired.
• Large facility with approximately100,000 square feetof ground to cover.
• Seasonal variation in temperature and weather conditions.
• Frequent radio communication with operators and managers.
• Teamwork-centered atmosphere with over 100 employees.
