Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Technician 1 in Texas to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment, from pumps to Aerial Work Platforms, in a safety-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (trade training preferred) and 1–3 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience. Training and advancement opportunities are provided along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Sunbelt Rentals— the fastest growing rental business in North America— is seeking a Technician. This Technician role performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily include Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment. Our specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred

Base Pay Range: $20.89 - 28.72 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
