Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Pump & Power Technician 1 to join our team. You will load and unload equipment, perform basic preventative maintenance, and complete minor repairs to prevent downtime.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment, plus a basic understanding of diesel systems, electronics and hydraulics. The role offers an opportunity to grow within a nationally recognized equipment rental leader.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with repairing and maintaining Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment.
• Basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater, HVAC, and Diesel pumps.
• Familiarity with diesel equipment, electronics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads equipment and performs basic preventative maintenance.
• Performs minor repairs to avoid equipment downtime.
• Adheres to safety protocols and works indoors/outdoors as required.

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Pump and Power Technician 1.

Responsibilities

The Pump & Power Technician 1 loads and unloads equipment, performs basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs in the safest and most effective way possible to avoid equipment down time.

Education and Experience

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• 1-3 years of experience and/or familiarity with repairing and maintaining Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment and accessories

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater, HVAC, and Diesel driven Pumps; possesses a basic understanding of diesel equipment, electronics and hydraulics

Operational process/system aptitude

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Pay

Base Pay Range: $20.31 - 29.19. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
