Job summary

ServiceMaster NCR in the DC Metro area is seeking a Production Assistant to join our Technician team on water damage, mold, and biohazard restoration jobs. This entry-level role provides hands-on training under a Technician or Lead, learning restoration fundamentals while contributing to active job sites.

• Support demolition, debris removal, and structural drying tasks as directed.
• Maintain jobsite cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout all phases.
• Follow all instructions from the supervising Technician or Lead Technician.
• Communicate clearly with team members and maintain a professional presence with customers.

The Production Assistant is an entry-level position supporting our Technician team on water damage, mold, and biohazard restoration jobs across the DC Metro area. Working under the direct supervision of a Technician or Lead, the Production Assistant learns the fundamentals of restoration while contributing to active job sites and learning the skills to become a Technician once training is completed.

PAY & JOB TYPE

Hourly Full-Time · Monday–Friday, Weekends as needed, On-call rotation

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to the main office (Alexandria, VA)
