Igloo Products Corp is seeking a Technician III – Maintenance to repair and rebuild hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical controlled production equipment. Reading electrical schematics and hydraulic drawings is essential.

In this role you will troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance, dismantle defective machines, install parts, and maintain a clean, organized maintenance shop while practicing 5S. Weekend and night shifts required.

Competenze

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift.
• English language skills: read/write/speak/understand English.
• Physical: lift up to 60 lbs, weekends and night shifts, ability to work in hot/cold environments.

This role is a multi-skilled craftsman responsible for repairing/rebuilding hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical controlled production equipment. The ability to read and interpret electrical schematics,and hydraulic drawings is essential.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, repair and perform reactive and preventive maintenance for all equipment and facilities.
• Dismantle defective machines/equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Layout, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
• Maintain the maintenance shop area in a neat and organized manner.
• Practice 5S daily.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalency.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment. Must be able to operate a sit-down forklift.
• English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Physical Demands: Manufacturing environment. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. stoop and bend. Able to work weekends and night shifts.
• Work environment: Warehouse is hot and humid in summer months, cold in winter months.
• Ability to work under pressure.

To be successful in this role, we believe that you possess the following skills, competencies & characteristics:

• Problem solving and analytical skill, Action oriented – results oriented, strong technical skills, Mechanical, Knowledge of machine functions, Familiarity with industrial products and Trade school a plus; plastic product mfg. experience.
• Trade school certification preferred. Allen Bradley/GE Fanuc PLC maintenance and programming is desirable.
• Troubleshooting, repair/rebuild of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
