The Technician III, Facilities Maintenance, is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment for Walmart corporate real-estate locations. This role manages projects by coordinating resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules. The position involves collaborating with internal teams and contractors, and maintaining compliance with safety and company policies. The Technician III supports continuous improvement efforts, provides guidance to team members, and contributes to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained facility environment aligned with organizational standards.

The campus operations kitchen equipment team is dedicated to maintaining corporate facilities through preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and detailed inspections. They work closely with contractors and suppliers to manage parts and equipment while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This team supports operational excellence by promptly addressing maintenance needs and sustaining a safe, well-maintained environment. Their expertise in facility repair, equipment upkeep, and project coordination is vital to preserving workplace quality and advancing business objectives efficiently. What you’ll bring

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including preventative maintenance and repairs of commercial kitchen equipment.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate resources, monitor progress, and manage budgets effectively.
• Proficiency in equipment repair, lock out/tag out procedures, and construction-related tasks.
• Commitment to safety compliance, risk assessment, and providing safety instruction to personnel.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with teams and stakeholders.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
