Job summary

TEAM Industrial Services, Inc. is seeking a field service professional based at a branch or site location in Joliet, IL.

The role involves maintaining a safe work environment and performing preventative maintenance and repairs on field service equipment, with travel of up to 25% as needed. You will interact with employees, supervisors, and client personnel, working in plant/shop areas with moderate noise and the need to wear safety equipment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and alerting others to potential hazards.
• Inspects and Monitors equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards and coordinates with Engineering to resolve issues.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repair of field service equipment per client and organization specifications.
• Coordinates with manufacturing and engineering to ensure parts and equipment are available to prevent downtime.

• Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM’s Core Values.
• Inspects and Monitors equipment routinely to ensure compliance with operational and safety performance standards, and takes corrective action or coordinates with Engineering to resolve as needed.
• Evaluates equipment performance and reacts to equipment failures for timely resolution.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repair of field service equipment per defined client and organization specifications.
• Coordinates with manufacturing and engineering personnel to ensure parts and equipment are available to prevent excessive downtime when equipment failures occur.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous industry related experience preferred.

• Position is based out of a branch or site location.
• Interaction with other employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel
• Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with moderate noise levels
• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection
• May be at more than one shop facility in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes
• May be required to travel out of town on a periodic basis Physical and Mental Requirements
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties
• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively
