Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Technician II QHSE to assist in implementing and maintaining quality, health, safety, and environmental programs on field projects in Texas. You will support site inspections, incident investigations, and QHSE training to foster a safe, compliant work environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and with teams, and familiarity with OSHA rules. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations.
  • Experience in environmental compliance and quality management principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to QHSE standards.
  • Support the investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, helping to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in the development and delivery of QHSE training programs for employees.
  • Help maintain and update QHSE documentation, including safety manuals, procedures, and records.
  • Assist with the collection and analysis of QHSE data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with project teams and supervisors to integrate QHSE requirements into daily operations.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of safety equipment and PPE.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting required QHSE reports to management and regulatory agencies.
  • Respond to and assist with emergency situations as needed.
  • Stay informed about QHSE regulations and industry best practices.
