Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Delphi, Indiana plant to keep production lines running safely and efficiently.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, hammer mills, sifters, PLCs, and automated equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. You will perform preventive maintenance, read manuals and schematics, and work with electrical and automation systems in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with maintenance of conveyors, mills, PLCs, and automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and overhaul production machines and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test and adjust.

This hands-on position supports equipment such as conveyors, hammer mills, sifters, Allen-Bradley PLCs, and automated production equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational performance. We're looking for a mechanically inclined problem solver who enjoys diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance, and working with both electrical and automation systems in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance professional who values safety, continuous learning, and making a direct impact on plant reliability and production success.****Key Responsibilities***** Install, maintain and overhaul production machines and facility equipment* Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment and/or mobile equipment and vehicles, and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during service.* Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.* Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.* Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.* Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities. Maintain computerized preventative maintenance system* Maintain current and in-depth knowledge of all safety policies and standards related to position.
