Job summary

NSF is seeking a Technician II for the Exposures Lab—Pipes Team. The role requires basic lab skills and the ability to understand and operate lab machinery. Plumbing knowledge is a plus and this is a strong entry point into product certification work within a mission-driven organization.

The position offers a Sunday-Thursday shift (7:00 am–3:30 pm) in a collaborative production environment where you’ll support quality control, maintain equipment, and help advance water system testing projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; plus lab experience or college lab coursework.
• AAS degree is a plus.
• 1 to 5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of standard lab procedures (use of balances, pipets, etc).
• Able to work well in a production team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude to work with water system components.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures following defined processes and standard operating procedures to support product certification.
• Technician will be involved in exposure of water system components to aqueous solutions to help determine possible product contaminants.
• Follow quality and documentation requirements for all laboratory work.
• Properly maintain required laboratory equipment.
