Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, is hiring a Technician II in Coralville, IA to formulate custom oligonucleotides for customer orders. The role reports to the Formulations Supervisor and operates on-site in the Commercial and Regulated Products Value Stream.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, some laboratory experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. An associate degree or higher and 12 months of lab experience are a plus in this

The Technician ll is responsible for formulating custom oligonucleotides according to the customers order using various techniques.

This position reports to the Formulations Supervisor and is part of the Commercial and Regulated Products Value Stream located in Coralville, IA, and will be an on-site role.

SHIFT: M-Th 9pm-8am

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Follows custom instructions outlined by Oligo Master Records or Manager Approved Process Flows
• Keeps thorough records of specialized processes in the oligo process history
• Organizes and handles customer owned materials as well as non-standard reagent formulations

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Some laboratory experience
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• An associate degree or higher
• 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience preferred
• Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
