Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) in Coralville, IA is seeking a Technician II to formulate custom oligonucleotides according to customer orders. This on-site role reports to the Formulations Supervisor and supports the Commercial and Regulated Products Value Stream.

You will follow Master Records or approved process flows, maintain detailed process history, and manage customer-owned materials and non-standard reagent formulations. Prior lab experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Some laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• An associate degree or higher and 12 months of lab experience preferred.

• Follows custom instructions outlined by Oligo Master Records or Manager Approved Process Flows.
• Keeps thorough records of specialized processes in the oligo process history.
• Organizes and handles customer owned materials as well as non-standard reagent formulations.

The Technician ll is responsible for formulating custom oligonucleotides according to the customer’s order using various techniques. This position reports to the Formulations Supervisor and is part of the Commercial and Regulated Products Value Stream located in Coralville, IA, and will be an on‑site role.

SHIFT: M-Th 9pm-8am

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Some laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: An associate degree or higher 12 months of lab experience; Life Science work experience preferred Extensive computer skills which include knowledge of the internet, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
