PAR Systems in Shoreview, MN seeks an Automation Technician to build robotics and automation systems on-site. You will read CAD drawings, troubleshoot issues, and assemble wiring and panels, delivering high-quality work with safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of relevant experience, an AAS or equivalent training, and the ability to travel as needed. You’ll join a driven team focused on precision, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

You can hit the ground running if you can read, interpret and trouble shoot engineering documentation and have hands on experience with wiring and mechanical assembly techniques. Your prior experience powering up machines will set you up for success at PAR. We never go at things alone, so your ability to work independently but collaborate with others is critical. The work you do here is integral to customer satisfaction and bringing PAR Systems to the next level.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant technology and machine build experience
• Experience building from and identifying issues from CAD solid model images
• AAS degree or relevant training and/or experience
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with Robotics, Laser Systems, Vision Systems
• Panel/Cable build experience is a plus
• PLC programming is a plus
• Ability to travel as needed to support the business
