Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Technician II to maintain and repair arcade games and bowling equipment, ensuring safety and reliability for guests and staff.

You will troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems, order parts, and keep the workshop organized while upholding high standards of sanitation and guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general knowledge/skill in repair and maintenance of arcade games or bowling equipment.
• Ability to learn and use multiple system supports for the business.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair games, tellers, pinsetters, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues to keep operations running smoothly.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards around the workspace and center.
• Inventory control and ordering supplies as needed.
• Assist with training and share knowledge with teammates.

Job Description:

At Main Event, our Technicians are responsible for maintaining the FUN! As a Technician, Tech II specifically, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment optionsand ensure they are performing properly and safely. You are responsible for supporting the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, to name a few. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
• Welcome and engage with all guestswhile being a FUN ambassador!
• Performing electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive, and scheduled maintenance (gotta keep things running!)
• Troubleshooting repairs on games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassembling, replacing, and repairing mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ordering supplies, tools, and materials as needed
• Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility
• Paid on-the-job training!

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• 18+ years of age
• 1+ years of general knowledge/skill set in the repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment or arcade games
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business
• Skilled in practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work
• Ability to perform work on ladders
• Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices
• Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights, weekends, and holidays
