Job summary

ACIS, Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC Helper to work in the field alongside senior HVAC Technicians on a range of heating and cooling systems. You’ll learn how to interact with customers and assist with installation and maintenance tasks under supervision.

This role offers on-the-job training, certification opportunities, and growth. Travel to job sites in the service area is required, with occasional nights or weekends on a rotating basis to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Installing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers
• Working with lead installer on HVAC home installations
• Traveling to job sites in service area and coordinating with dispatch to maintain schedule and inform customers of delays
• Being available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis
• Participating in company-provided training opportunities on latest industry technologies

As a Commercial HVAC Helper, you will be in the field with senior HVAC Technicians working on a variety of heating and cooling systems. As you assist them, they will mentor and train you on everything from: How to talk with customers to how to properly install and maintain equipment.

• Installing heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers
• Working with lead installer on HVAC home installations
• Traveling to job sites in service area and working with the dispatch team to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customers
• Being available to work nights or weekends, on a rotating basis, to service the needs of our customers
