Job summary

MicroCare, LLC is a trusted global provider of critical cleaning solutions. We seek an Aerosol Technician for our Production Line in New Britain, CT. Hours are 6am–4:30pm, Monday–Thursday, offering a three-day weekend and a hands-on role on the New Britain facility line.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of warehouse/industrial/manufacturing experience.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge.
  • Ability to follow instruction and work independently.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Complete facility specific Operator position training per the MicroCare Training and Development Matrix and perform any additional responsibilities per the Matrix.
  • Forklift Certification (preferred).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing conveyor systems (preferred).
  • Mechanical abilities (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assist with set-up and break-down of filling lines to manufacture products.
  • Package, label, lot, and stack products according to batch ticket instructions.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Dispose of daily trash and cardboard.
  • Assist in various warehouse tasks as needed.
  • Move raw materials and finished goods around the warehouse with forklift if required.
  • Promote an incident-free workplace by following safety policies and trainings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The hours for this position are Monday -Thursday 6am to 4:30, giving you a three-day weekend! This role is located at our New Britain Facility.

RESPONSIBILITES

1. Assist with the set-up and break-down of the various filling lines to manufacture all of the different types of MicroCare products.


2. Package, label, lot, and stack all products according to batch ticket instructions.


3. Inspect all finished products for accuracy and quality.


4. Maintain clean work environment.


5. Dispose of daily trash and cardboard.


6. Assist in various warehouse tasks as needed.


7. If required, move raw materials and finished goods around the warehouse with propane powered forklift.


8. Promote an incident free workplace by complying with safety policies and procedures and participating in company safety trainings.


9. Other duties as assigned.


Requirements

COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to read and follow detailed batch ticket instructions
  • Mathematically competent
  • Warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing work experience
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines

  • Chemical blending experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing conveyor systems
  • Mechanical abilities
  • Forklift Certification
  • Ability to observe and provide process improvement guidance/suggestions

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Lifting required of up to 60lbs unassisted and over 60lbs with lifting aides
  • Frequently stands, walks, stoops, crouches, climbs, pushes, and pulls
  • Operate a forklift
  • Work environment subject to seasonal temperature variation
