FleetPride in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an entry-level Diesel Technician to perform heavy-duty truck and trailer maintenance in a non-climate controlled environment. You will complete routine services, inspect components, and ensure compliance with standards.
The role requires a Diesel Technology associate degree, 1+ year mechanical experience, Air Brake certification, and a valid driver's license. CDL preferred but not required; lifting 50 lbs may be required.
Perform heavy-duty truck and trailer maintenance and repairs to both company and federal regulations ( standards, guidelines ). Technician 1 is an entry level opportunity that will require you to perform basic mechanical repairs.
Ability to supply the require tools to perform daily repairs i.e. Hand Tools, Air tools, Grinders and tools box.
Valid CDl preferred but not required.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Non-climate controlled environment.
