Job summary

Texas A&M University in College Station, TX seeks a Technician I to support experimental work and lab activities. The role involves assisting with technical procedures, recording observations, and providing support to graduate students and research staff in the laboratory.

The role also includes conducting literature reviews, maintaining accurate and detailed records, and ensuring timely communication and participation in laboratory meetings.

Required Education and Experience

Laboratory Maintenance

• Performs daily cleaning, organization, and upkeep of laboratory spaces and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Updates and maintains laboratory inventories, including reagents, supplies, and bacterial stocks.
• Ensures proper maintenance, calibration, and readiness of laboratory instruments and equipment.
