Key Responsibilities
- Assist in Hydro Excavation Operations: Support the operator using high‑pressure water and vacuum systems to expose underground utilities safely.
- Set Up and Secure Job Sites: Prepare work areas, set up safety barriers, and ensure all necessary equipment is in place.
- Support Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Comply with Safety Regulations: Follow all company and site‑specific safety regulations, including PPE usage, and attend regular safety meetings.
- Handle Materials Responsibly: Assist in the proper handling, collection, and disposal of debris in compliance with environmental standards.
- Work as a Team Player: Communicate effectively with the operator and crew to ensure smooth project execution.
What You Bring to the Team
- Proven experience in hydro excavation, construction, labor, or industrial work
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in various environments
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with regulations
- Ability to pass criminal and MVR backgrounds as well as drug screen
- Must be willing to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel or work out of town
Work Environment
- The position involves lifting (up to 50 – 75 pounds), pushing, pulling, and bending; the level of physical effort may vary from site to site.
- May be exposed to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals, etc.) occasionally.
- Work environment includes dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes most of the workday.
- Normal setting for this job is outdoors and/or driving a vehicle.
