Job summary

Doral Automotive Group is seeking an automotive technician to diagnose and repair engine systems and electrical/electronic components, and to service transmissions and fuel systems.

You will perform oil changes, brake work, A/C repairs, and routine maintenance, explain repairs to customers, and uphold a clean, professional shop environment.

Qualifications

• Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Hold a valid driver license.
• Graduated from an associate degree program in auto maintenance and repair.
• Must read, interpret and transcribe data to maintain accurate records.
• Experience as a lube technician or on-the-job training.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.
• Good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical and electronic systems.

Position SummaryAn Automotive Technician is largely responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle engine systems. Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems. Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
