Position: Technician - Healthcare

Reports to: Project Manager

Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Final hookup and programming of electronics for new installations
  • Responding promptly to service issues
  • Testing and documenting system readings
  • Updating customer files
  • Troubleshooting and repairing electronic components
  • Handling on-call duties
  • Training customers on equipment use
  • Reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
  • Operating test equipment such as Volt Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.
  • Assisting with preventive maintenance
  • Accurately tracking time sheets, service tickets, and inventory

Accountability: The technician reports to the Project Manager and is accountable to management, employees, and customers.

Qualifications:
  • Two-year electronics degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of communication systems, VoIP, networking, fire alarms, CCTV, etc.
  • Cisco and Microsoft certifications preferred
Education:
  • High school diploma required; proficiency in basic electronics and CAD reading necessary
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in Electronics, IT, or related field; certifications like NSCA CEST, NICET, RCDD
Additional Skills:
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, responsible
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under stress
  • Valid driver’s license
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
  • Standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional outdoor work and seasonal temperature exposure
