Position Summary...

Walmart is hiring General Maintenance Technicians! You will make an impact by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all commercial equipment to support our Walmart stores. Responsibilities include developing maintenance schedules, completing assigned PMs within the designated timeframe, and training Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning.

What You'll Do...

• Perform minor repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment).
• Complete routine maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
• Manage work orders and maintenance schedules, including documentation like work orders, logs, and expense vouchers.

Minimum Qualifications...

• Eligible for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Additional qualifications include vocational or technical certifications and experience in trades like plumbing, electrical, or material handling, or 5 years in related trades. A valid driver’s license and CDL eligibility are required. Preferred qualifications include completion of a 2-year trade program, trade licenses, or proficiency in office software.
