Job summary

PSCI in Huntsville, AL seeks a Technician Field Level 2 to maintain and troubleshoot military vehicles such as M270, M270A1 and HIMARS. U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance is required. On-site, 4/10 work week, contract position, first shift.

Role includes installing, operating, maintaining, repairing and modifying equipment at customer sites. Ability to diagnose malfunctions and provide training to customer staff is essential. Safety shoes are required.

• Familiar with gasoline and diesel engines.
• Troubleshooting skills on vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot wheeled and track vehicles (M270, M270A1, HIMARS).

DESCRIPTION

Technician responsibilities will be maintaining/troubleshooting wheeled and track vehicles, such as M270, M270A1, and HIMARS vehicles.

Working on Military vehicles, MLRS, Bradley, M1A1, HUMVEE, HEMITT, etc. Bulldozers, front end loaders.

Render technical guidance to resolve difficult and unusual maintenance problems. Provide an analysis of maintenance program and recommendations that may be beneficial.

Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
