The (USA) Technician, Facility Services, Irrigation, is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal exterior facility performance. This role involves operating heavy equipment, conducting seasonal maintenance, troubleshooting system issues, and coordinating with management and partners to meet service expectations. The technician ensures compliance with safety standards, maintains accurate documentation, and supports facility sustainability initiatives. Effective communication and adherence to company policies are essential to deliver quality results while promoting a safe and efficient work environment. This position contributes to the overall upkeep and operational excellence of Walmart facilities.

The Exterior Service team is essential in maintaining Walmart stores by managing landscaping, parking lot repairs, and supporting technicians across locations. They ensure facilities remain safe, functional, and visually appealing through seasonal upkeep and timely repairs. Team members operate specialized machinery and vehicles while following safety and quality standards. Collaborating with the Home Office, they standardize equipment and optimize resources. What you\'ll do:

What you\'ll bring:

• Proven experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing irrigation systems and components.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery, vehicles, and specialized tools safely and effectively.
• Skilled in performing seasonal maintenance activities, including winterizing and spring start-up procedures.
• Strong knowledge of safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards in facility maintenance.
• Proficient in using electronic devices for work order management, documentation, and communication.
• Capability to coordinate with managers, coworkers, and external partners to meet service expectations.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working order.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to support teamwork and customer service.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
