Walmart Inc. is seeking a Senior Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician for our Philadelphia area stores. You will repair and oversee refrigeration and HVAC equipment, using hand, digital and power tools to complete assignments, while following Walmart safety and environmental guidelines.

The role requires extensive HVAC/R experience, EPA certifications, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work with the local stores, respond to emergencies, and ensure compliance with safety policies.

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field (Option 1).
• 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field (Option 2).
• Type I and II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman when required.
• No DUI/DWI/OUI in last 5 years.
• No more than two moving violations in last 3 years.
• No preventable accidents with commercial vehicle in last 3 years.
• No serious traffic violations in last 3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.
• Use work order system to manage repairs for Stores and document activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines per Walmart safety policy.

Minimum Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance
• Large Scale Rack Refrigeration Experience Type I/Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Option 1: Vocational or technical HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
• Option 2: 4 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.
• Hold and maintains Type I and Type II or Universal Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.
• Where required, HVAC-R/ Mechanical Journeyman.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
• Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
• No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.

Job Duties

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets by utilizing commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and using hand tools, digital tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines by performing work according to practices and procedures outlined in the Walmart Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and comfortable working at heights frequently
