Job summary

Gila River Resorts & Casinos is seeking an experienced electrician to perform electrical installations, repairs, and routine maintenance across our properties. You will diagnose issues, test systems, and ensure compliance with codes while delivering excellent guest service.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 3 years of electrical trade experience, and a valid AZ driver's license. Pre-employment drug test and background check are required. Smoking environment work is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Three (3) years of electrical trade experience required.
• AZ driver's license with clean driving record for the past five years.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol test and agree to maintain a Drug-Free Workplace as a condition of employment.
• Must pass a full background check to be certified/licensed prior to employment.
• Must be able to work in a smoking environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote excellent guest service experiences.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment to locate problems.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure code compliance.
• Advise management on potential hazards of continued operation.
• Test circuits for continuity using ohmmeters, voltmeters, Oscilloscopes.
• Maintain dependable attendance with very infrequent absences.
• Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: $24.88 per hour

This position is responsible for performing electrical installations, repair and maintenance throughout the enterprise by personally performing the following duties, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
• Assembles, installs, tests, and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand and power tools.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Inspects electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazard, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advises enterprise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous
• Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
