Midland Memorial Hospital seeks an Echocardiographer & Vascular Ultrasound Technician to assess, plan and implement diagnostic testing for assigned patients, documenting activities and managing supplies. You will promote teamwork with physicians and other departments and apply clinical judgment in patient care.
The role includes Cardiac and Vascular ultrasound procedures, with PRN Sunday-Monday shifts and variable hours, requiring strong technical and communication skills.
Performs the essential job duties and responsibilities of an Echocardiographer & Vascular Ultrasound Technician in assessing, planning and implementing diagnostic testing of assigned patients. Responsible for meeting the established standards for the administration of diagnostic ultrasound as well as appropriate documentation of activities related to testing and for managing supplies and equipment. Responsible for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. Responsible for solving practical problems, dealing with a variety of issues and interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form. Demonstrates clinical knowledge and judgment regarding patient’s care.
