Job summary

AtPrince Telecom, LLC is hiring a Cable Installation Technician to safely install and troubleshoot video services, internet, telephone, and alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses. You will work full-time in the field, with a focus on quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, US work authorization, and a HS diploma or equivalent. The position offers an hourly wage with opportunities for overtime, incentives, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• HS diploma or GED or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes or businesses.
• Identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
• Review requested services with customers to ensure understanding and agreement.
• Educate customers on product and service usage.
• Maintain and stock vehicle and equipment; perform related duties as assigned.

Pay Range: $20 - $23/hr+

What you’ll do

• Install, disconnect, and troubleshoot video service, internet, telephone, and/or alarm equipment in customer homes and businesses
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
• Previous experience in cable installation or a related field preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.

The wage range for Technician Cable Installation is$20.00 - $23.00.
