Georg Fischer Central Plastics LLC is seeking an Automation Technician responsible for trouble shooting and maintaining all automation equipment. You will report to the Value Stream Manager and ensure compliance with safety, ISO, and quality standards.

Summary: This position is responsible for trouble shooting/maintaining all automation equipment. This position reports directly to the Value stream manager.
High School Diploma or equivalent, desired
Typical Office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production areas Must be able to lift 40 lbs. in a safe manner Clarity of vision and the ability to focus on a fast and repetitious operation for extended period of time Exposure to chips and dust (eye protection required) Must be able to perform repetitive motion. Examples: walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time Exposure to electrical and mechanical moving parts Must be capable of maintaining a 40-hour workweek and working overtime as needed
