Job summary

Triumph Systems, Electronics & Control in Windsor, CT is seeking a 1st Shift Assembly and Test Technician to produce end unit products by assembling and testing parts and subassemblies. The successful individual will have experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly work.

Builds and tests units per procedures, inspects against drawings, and ensures quality while meeting production deadlines. Strong teamwork and precise, detail-oriented execution are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training desired.
• 3 years in aviation maintenance, military or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with substantial understanding of technical aspects.
• Experience with mechanical and/or hydraulic assembly work.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions, concentrate, and work as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Builds and assembles components utilizing assembly test procedures, reading blue prints, and following written engineering instructions.
• Adheres to proper specifications for subassemblies and assemblies by using inspection equipment and reading blueprints.
• Tests units in accordance with the Customer's Acceptance Test Procedures and engineering written instructions.
• Meets productions deadlines by following correct procedures for product completion.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Ensures product quality by testing assembled parts utilizing specifications and quality control procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Builds and assembles components utilizing assembly test procedures, reading blue prints, and following written engineering instructions.
• Adheres to proper specifications for subassemblies and assemblies by using inspection equipment (OD and ID micrometers, height gages, dial calipers, etc.), and reading blueprints.
• Tests units in accordance with the Customer's Acceptance Test Procedures and engineering written instructions.
• Meets productions deadlines by following correct procedures for product completion.
• Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
• Ensures product quality by testing assembled parts utilizing specifications and quality control procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
