Job summary

Fields Jaguar Land Rover of Waukesha is seeking energetic technicians to join our service team. You will perform repairs per repair orders, assist test-driving vehicles, and learn diagnostic tools in a busy dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Dealership experience is a benefit, but not required.
• Technical Schooling required.
• ASE Certification encouraged but not required.

• Interest in automotive industry and a can-do mindset.
• Strong teamwork skills and reliability.
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures.
• Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems using diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to update customers on repairs and timelines.
• Execute repairs under manufacturer specifications and warranty where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership – familiarizing yourself with the service department & procedures
• Assist Service Advisor in test-driving vehicles, and testing components and systems. You will learn how to use diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
